Hey guys! Just wanted to let you all know that this entry was my thoughts from a lesson one of my youth leaders gave at youth group a few weeks back. So it's coming from my head but she helped put it in there. lol.
Worship.
What first comes to your mind when you think of that word? Music.....Praise.....Words..
Well all of these things can be worship, but only when we want to do them. Worship is what we were created for! God made us because he loved us and the best way to give it all back to him here on this earth, is worship. Worship is a choice, an attitude, and it's all about Him. Worship is not that tingley feeling you get when your singing your favorite praise song at church. (Although Praise God for that feeling, it's amazing!) Worship is the choice you made when you decided to sing that song and just give it all back to him. But the action of worship is not what counts, it's your attitude behind it. This is my problem, I might be at church "worshiping" , but that action of worship doesnt have the right attitude behind it if I'm thinking...'wow that guy looks kinda funny'..or..'ugh I'm so hungry, I wish we could go home already so I can eat something!'. If my heart doesn't have the right attitude, my act of worship means nothing to God.
Personally, my definition of worship would be praising God for all he is and all he does all the time, even when things in my own life might not be going so well. Praising Him in the storm, so to speak.
Blessed be Your name when the sun's shining down on me, when the world's all as it should be. Blessed be Your name.
Blesses be Your name on the road marked with suffering, though there's pain in the offering. Blessed be Your name.
Every blessing You pour out I'll turn back to praise.
When the darkness closes in, Lord still I will say,
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name! ~Blessed be Your Name-Matt Redman~

Ants Proverbs 6:6-9
Almost all of us have squashed an ant hill when we were younger. I really don’t know why, but we did. I never really liked ants. They are tiny and crawl around gathering food from our houses or outside. The ant works hard almost constantly to make sure it, and it’s whole colony will eat. God created ants with the instinct to work hard! Now you might be saying, ‘Work and hard in the same sentence?!? HELP!’ (me too) , and that’s our natural instinct, not to work hard. And if we do work, not to put our mind and energy into it. The Bible warns against this instinct. But is it really an instinct, or just a habit? Here’s a hint, habits can be broken! The Bible clues us in on how to, (with a lot of help from God) break this habit. The Bible says in Proverbs 6:6-8, “ Go to the ant you sluggard; consider it’s ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseers or ruler, yet it stores up it’s provisions in the summer and gathers it’s food at harvest.” Check that out! Ants don’t even need a slave driver (mom or dad) to get it to work! The Proverbs continue on with a question for us. It says in verse 9 , “How long will you lie there you sluggard? When will you get up from your sleep?” There you have it, a wake up call straight from God’s word telling us to break the habit of the human race and work hard. Make the ant your role model.

The rebelution was today!
Alot of people showed up and I hope everyone was impacted by the speaking.
I know i was.
This generation just about THRIVES on lazyness! And I'm sad to say I'm one of these couch potatoes...BUT, thats not what my purpose is! Nobodys purpose is to just be lazy! Time is way to precious! But even more than that, God expects great things of each and every one of us. Even when we can't figure out what these things might be just yet, they are coming. You can count on it.
God also expects us to be examples. Thats right! The Teenagers! One of my favorite verses, 1 Timothy 4:12 says, Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the belivers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity.
In every asspect of our lives we are expected to be a example! To the other belivers, our friends, family, everyone! And that is my current Hard Thing.
living up to that expectation. The truth is it will probably take a lifetime, but thats the way its supossed to be. (: Thats why it's so important for us (for me!) to start now! God, help me to be a rebelutionary!

After Christmas
Yeah,
So Christmas is over, and school has started back up, much to my dismay.
Did anybody else eat at least a million Christmas cookies, and way to many candy canes? ( one of which I hapened to break a bracket on my braces.....)
But the new year has also begun...
Time to whip out the new Michael Phelps calender(;
Just kidding but I know someone who probably has one!
Anyway, so this one of a my New Years resolutions, to start a blog.
I figured since I'm on the computer wayyyy to much I might as well be doing something useful.
hmm speaking of something useful I should probably be finishing up my algebra homework. Ugh.
Ok, well bye everyone.
and happy 2009! (like a couple days late...opps)

Welp, here we goo!
This is my new blog! I don't know to much about blogging but I'll give it a shot! :/
Lets start with a little bit about me....
So I'm a Christian, it's the most important thing in the world to me. And for those of you who think being a Christian is a religion, it's not. It's a relationship. With the eternal God and maker of the universe, who sent his only son, Jesus, to die on the cross for every single one of us. And all we had to do was except that.
Oh yeah, and i have the most amazing friends, whos names I will not list because if i did you would want to stalk them because they are so awsome! But if your one of them, you know who you are.(;
Another awsome part of my life is, guitar. And just music in general. I love any kind of guitar playing but my favorite is just strumming out worship songs! I recently got a new electric guitar. I was influenced by one of my friends, to name the guitar :D , (my friend is kind of odd(; ) so anyway my guitars name is Ben, after Ben Kasica from the band Skillet. ( who by the way is ONLY THE GREATEST BAND EVER! )
So yeah i'll write more later, but now I've got stuff to doo!
peace outttt<3
